Superdune Multisport & Off-road Run Race - 26th April 2009

With winter closing in fast, this could be just the right event to do before hibernation ...

Or if you're a mud pig then this will only be a warm-up and we'll see you out there all winter long ...

Whatever makes you tick, now's the time to enter the 24th Edition of the Superdune. Haven't done the training for the Full Monty? Just come & do one of the off-road run options. Wanna keep it social? Get on that phone, find someone with a kayak/sit-on-top/whatever and come have some fun with your (work)mates. Wanna bring the kids? The 5km fun run & walk would give the whole family a great morning out together.

Late entries will be accepted at registration Saturday (AvantiPlus Waitakere, Universal Drive - Lincoln, 2pm-5pm) and Sunday before the event (7.30am - 9am at Bethells Beach)  but a $20 late fee will be added to the entry fee.

Sharkskin is back as a sponsor of the 2009 Superdune and along with a whole lot of other spotprizes we will be giving away a couple of Sharkskin technical garments as part of the major spotprizes. Ideal for those winter kayak sessions, just another very good reason to enter and be there at prize giving.

Event massage will be present at the finish line to help you get that lactic acid out of your muscles. They will offer massage sessions in 5min blocks for as little as $1 per minute. May as well get a rub while waiting for prize giving, you'll love them for it.

Complimentary food and refreshments will also be available at the finish line to make you feel human again.
